Job Title: Finishing Project Engineer - High-Rise Building

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finishing Project Engineer to manage and execute finishing activities for a high-rise building project in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in interior and exterior finishes, a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and high-quality workmanship, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-end finishes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on site, including but not limited to plastering, painting, tiling, ceiling works, joinery, and MEP finishing interfaces. Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project timelines. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the main contractor to resolve any on-site issues and ensure quality and safety standards are upheld. Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager on productivity, quality, and potential risks or delays. Conduct quality inspections and ensure snag-free handovers. Prepare material submittals and method statements for client/consultant approval. Review shop drawings and provide input or raise concerns during the coordination stage. Enforce site safety and work practices in compliance with local regulations and company policies. Manage and supervise subcontractors and finishing crews to ensure work is completed as per project standards and timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience in high-rise building finishing works. Strong understanding of architectural and MEP coordination in finishing stages. Hands-on experience with high-quality finishes including luxury interiors, stonework, cladding, and specialty materials. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or other local authorities' regulations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Proficient in project management tools and MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
