We are currently looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Finishing Project Engineer
to oversee and manage the
finishing works
of a prestigious
high-rise building project
in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in all aspects of architectural finishing, coordination with subcontractors, and quality control on large-scale construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all finishing works (plaster, paint, tiles, marble, false ceilings, joinery, and other architectural finishes) to ensure timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
Review and interpret architectural drawings, material specifications, and finishing details.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and proper execution of finishing works.
Monitor site progress, quality, and safety, ensuring compliance with project schedules and specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any finishing-related technical issues.
Prepare and track snag lists and ensure all rectifications are completed within set deadlines.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and safety regulations.
Report regularly to the Project Manager regarding progress, quality issues, and potential risks or delays.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of
5 years of proven experience
as a Finishing Engineer on
high-rise or large commercial/residential projects
.
Strong understanding of finishing materials, detailing, and installation methods.
Familiarity with
Dubai construction standards and authority approvals
(Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, RERA, etc.).
Excellent communication, leadership, and site management skills.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
UAE experience is
highly preferred
.
