Job Description

A Fire and Safety Company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a project engineer experienced in fire fighting and fire alarm field who is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering fire fighting and fire alarm installation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all works meet contractual obligations and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation.

Review contract requirements and ensure all deliverables align with client expectations.

Team Management:

Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams to achieve project objectives.

Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Material Management:

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment as per project needs.

Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

Coordination and Communication:

Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project progress.

Participate in project meetings and address concerns proactively.

Progress Monitoring:

Track project milestones and ensure adherence to approved schedules.

Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to stakeholders.

Compliance:

Ensure installation works comply with NFPA standards, UAE Fire Code, and other relevant regulations.

Address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

Handover:

Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of systems to the client.

Prepare project closeout documents, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and warranty certificates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in project management for fire fighting and fire alarm systems. Proficient in NFPA standards, UAE Fire Code, and construction practices. Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Valid UAE driving license required.
