Key Responsibilities
Plan, direct, supervise, and control all technical, commercial, financial, and administrative functions of assigned infrastructure design projects.
Oversee preparation and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plan, and other required project documents.
Establish program requirements across all project disciplines and monitor draft and final deliverables to ensure compliance with defined criteria.
Assign responsibilities to project managers, discipline leads, and senior staff based on capability, experience, and project needs.
Lead scope management activities and negotiate changes to scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.
Support business development activities by strengthening client relationships and securing additional project opportunities.
Ensure follow-up on all project instructions, commitments, and contractual obligations.
Prepare and distribute project summaries to align all project team members on objectives, scope, and progress.
Provide input into performance reviews, mentoring, and development planning for project leadership teams.
Mobilize internal company resources through coordination with support departments, regional offices, and subsidiaries.
Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and execution strategies.
Identify risks related to cost overruns, delays, or scope changes and implement corrective action plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date change orders, cost forecasts, and commercial records.
Promote technical and commercial excellence through consistent application of quality assurance processes.
Monitor and report project progress, milestones, risks, and issues to senior management.
Act as the primary company representative with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
Establish and lead regular project review meetings to track progress and define action items.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical or business discipline.
Minimum 20 years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles in infrastructure design and project delivery.
Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary infrastructure design programs.
Strong knowledge of project controls, commercial management, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
Demonstrated leadership capability in managing complex, high-value projects.
Professional registration is an advantage.
