Position Overview

We are seeking a

skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator - Facade

to oversee and support the planning, coordination, and execution of facade-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that facade systems are designed, developed, and implemented to the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, and project managers to understand project scope, design intent, and functional requirements. Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to determine the most appropriate facade systems for each project. Develop detailed design proposals including schematic drawings, material specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate with internal departments (design, engineering, procurement, site execution) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Oversee the preparation and review of construction documentation such as

shop drawings

,

fabrication drawings

, and

installation manuals

. Conduct regular

site inspections

to monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Provide ongoing

technical support

to installation teams during execution, resolving on-site challenges as needed. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion and successful handover. Act as a point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in facade engineering, incorporating innovative solutions where applicable.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

,

Architecture

, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in

facade engineering

with a focus on the design, analysis, and execution of complex facade systems. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

Revit

,

BIM

, and other relevant design and project coordination software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners. Strong project management capabilities, including time management, task prioritization, and problem-solving. Solid knowledge of

Qatar building codes

, local construction regulations, and international facade standards. Familiarity with

sustainable design principles

and green building certification systems (e.g., LEED, GSAS) is a plus. Flexibility to travel occasionally for site visits, inspections, and project meetings.
