Position Overview:

The Chartered Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial and compliance aspects of project execution, focusing on Obligation Credit achievement, budget control, and audit readiness. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Obligation Credit Management:

Track and monitor Obligation Credit achievement for each project module. Audit and assess Obligation Credit performance to ensure targets are met. Plan and develop KPIs aligned with the progress of each project module. Manage and update parameters within each credit module to ensure accuracy. Incorporate advisory feedback from the Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) into credit planning and reporting. Continuously track, analyze, and update Obligation Credit data. Identify and manage potential risks associated with credit achievement.

Financial Management & Control:

Control and monitor budgets across project modules, ensuring efficient financial management. Report credit achievements and accounting status periodically to senior management. Prepare comprehensive financial data and documentation for external and internal audits. Conduct internal audits related to project progress and financial compliance, as needed. Ensure financial records, obligations, and reporting are compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Qualifications and Skills:

Certified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent). 5+ years of experience in financial management, audit, or project accounting. Strong understanding of project-based finance and obligation tracking. Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Excellent audit preparation and internal control assessment skills. High level of accuracy, organization, and risk management capabilities. Strong communication skills to collaborate with project, technical, and advisory teams.
