Programme Manager - Support Grade: GG13 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. This critical Programme Delivery role is responsible for ensuring that the Rolls Royce Saudi Arabia Limited (RRSAL) availability contract is delivered to time, cost and quality to meet the SSS contracts Key Performance Indicator (KPM) of Engine Availability The role sits within the SSS Contract Management Team, and will work as part of the integrated project team responsible for managing the performance and operation of the support solution. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The job holder will be responsible to the SSS Head of Contract for the following: Accountable for the delivery of the SSS Key Performance Measure (KPM) for RSAF Typhoon Engine Availability. Work alongside procurement to mobilise and manage the contracts placed onto RRSAL for RSAF Typhoon Engine Availability. Developing close working relationships with RRSAL to deliver win-win scenarios Deep understanding and assessment of the SSS Engine in-service data and Engine forecasting model reports to anticipate performance issues and identify and mobilise appropriate change actions to avoid / mitigate issues. Work collaboratively with RRSAL to develop and execute an Engine recovery plan for non-attributable Engine arisings. Manage the Non Attributable Engine Process when new arisings occur. Manage RRSAL to deliver upon their In Service Industrialisation obligations. Ensure an effective closed-loop review process is established and maintained with RRSAL in order to capture, assess and sentence support solution management information requiring change action. Work collaboratively with the Fleet Support Contract Delivery Managers to identify and manage performance issues / risks / opportunities against the relevant areas of the contract, and where necessary capture change actions. Focal point for customer engagement on Engine availability issues and leading for specific targeted actions, ensuring that the relevant customer stakeholders are effectively engaged and remain informed on scope, plans and progress. In order to achieve the above key responsibilities, the role will: Be required to travel to other locations in KSA / UK / Europe to attend workshops, reviews and meetings. Involve significant internal and external collaboration to ensure that the SSS service delivers the required customer outcomes. Involve integrating multiple data inputs and providing consolidated viewpoints to enable informed decision making Involve reviewing with senior management key business issues and ensuring integrated actions are mobilised. Involve significant internal cross functional and cross business unit collaboration to realise project goals. Set and maintain standards and schedules for programme status reporting incl. issue, risk and opportunity management. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION Bachelor's degree or higher. Knowledge of the Rolls Royce business Experience with the strategic fleet management of EJ200 Engine within a service environment. Experience with the Rolls Royce European supply chain. Experience of forecasting and fleet planning within a fast jet service environment Experience with managing a service based business and associated contracts Proven ability to collaborate and influence across organisational boundaries at all levels of the organisation; integrating, prioritising, managing conflict and solving problems as appropriate. Understanding of Middle Eastern markets
