Sustainability Programme Manager (short Term Contract)

Job Description
Job Purpose The Sustainability Programme Manager will drive the development of sustainability projects and strategic communications – both internal and external.
Key Accountabilities

- Support coordination of DP World’s Global Education program and take responsibility for the global education analysis and reporting.
- Deliver DP World’s global commitments to United for Wildlife.
- Manage the community data system and approvals. Ensure regular input.
- Story mine local stories aligned with the Our World Our Future framework.
- Coordinate trainings for sustainability champions and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong interactive champion community keeping the directory updated.
- Support senior managers with data collection and coordination for the ESG report.
- Develop global data and proof points for indices and awards. Identify pertinent awards.
- Oversee Global Volunteer Week.
- Support SDG week.
- Support the sustainable supply chain initiatives.
- Support the coordination of the LET partnership.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Experience of being the principle lead in driving and leading sustainability partnerships
- Experience of managing multi-stakeholders to a common goal.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, for example business management, public administration.
- Ability to negotiate, influence and at times direct senior leaders and high profile individuals
- Proficient in managing and analysing sustainability data.
- Proficient at stakeholder partnership management
- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels within an organisation.
- Experience of managing multi-partner stakeholders, and navigating successfully in multi-lingual, multi-cultural environments.
- Highly responsible, self-motivated individual, capable of performing effectively under pressure.
- Excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
