Program Director of the Master of Arts program in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media

The Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants for
the position of Program Director of the Master of Arts program in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary Media
to begin in Spring 2024.

The primary responsibility of the Program Director of the Master\'s program in Leadership and Innovation in Contemporary
Media is to oversee the Master\'s program. In this capacity, the Program Director will have academic oversight of the
program, provide strategic direction in collaboration with the school\'s leadership, teach, and supervise program faculty
and staff members. Also, the Program Director will assist the Associate Dean in administrative tasks when needed.
The successful candidate will have:

A Ph.D. in Media or a related field from a Western accredited institution at the time of appointment;

Strong research record and/or professional experience in Emerging Media;

Excellent written and oral communication skills;

Ability to work in a team.

The compensation package for this position is competitive and is based on the expatriate model. Besides tax-exempt basic
salary, it includes housing, annual two-way airfare, health/life insurance, professional memberships, conference
attendance expenses, assistance with children\'s tuition, and other components.
