Role Summary
The Production Process Engineer manages production process discipline activities for major works from concept through execution, commissioning, and handover to operations. The role integrates operational experience into project development, resolves technical and execution challenges, and supports site management in achieving production and injection targets safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do

  • Lead major works from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with company objectives and procedures
  • Review layouts, control schemes, specifications, O and M studies, plot plans, and 3D models
  • Interface with engineering disciplines to support detailed engineering activities
  • Resolve technical and execution conflicts between major works, site operations, and execution plans
  • Review engineering packages including scope of work, data sheets, schedules, load lists, technical proposals, and estimates
  • Support site management in controlling production and process discipline aspects during execution
  • Ensure safe operations and support achievement of production and injection targets
  • Identify and resolve interface issues between new projects, existing facilities, and subsystems
  • Minimize scope changes that may impact cost and schedule
  • Participate in site surveys, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and decommissioning activities
  • Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support to plant operations
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure effective integration of major works into ongoing operations
  • Develop and review PFDs, PIDs, UFDs, cause and effect diagrams, and design specifications
  • Perform equipment sizing, line sizing calculations, and flow summaries
  • Review technical proposals, engineering estimates, and scopes for consultants and contractors
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in production or process engineering roles
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas production facilities and major works execution
  • Experience with process design documentation and engineering calculations
  • Ability to resolve complex technical and operational issues
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in site visits as required
