Job Overview:

The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations on the production floor within the frozen foods facility. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, quality and safety standards are upheld, and team performance meets set production targets. The supervisor will act as a link between management and floor staff, ensuring smooth workflow, discipline, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production staff on the floor to achieve daily targets. Ensure adherence to

food safety, hygiene, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards

. Monitor operations to maintain efficiency, reduce wastage, and ensure consistent product quality. Oversee handling of raw materials and finished frozen products, ensuring proper cold chain practices. Assign tasks and schedules to workers, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Conduct on-the-job training, performance monitoring, and staff evaluations. Report production progress, incidents, or issues to the Production / Operations Manager. Enforce health & safety guidelines and maintain a safe, clean working environment. Coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs of equipment and minimize downtime. Support audits, inspections, and quality checks on the production floor.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years' supervisory experience in frozen foods, FMCG, or food processing industry. Strong knowledge of frozen food handling, storage, and production operations. Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and food industry compliance. Leadership and people-management skills with the ability to handle diverse teams. Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Flexibility to work in cold environments and in shifts if required.

Preferred:

Experience managing high-volume frozen/chilled production lines. Multilingual abilities (English required; Arabic/Hindi/Tagalog an advantage). Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
