The

Production Floor Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures are met. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate people, machines, and materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production floor activities to meet daily and monthly production goals. Plan, assign, and monitor the work of production staff to ensure smooth workflow. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies. Monitor machine performance and ensure timely maintenance to minimize downtime. Manage manpower allocation and handle shift scheduling as required. Review production reports and identify areas for process improvement. Train and mentor production operators and technicians to enhance performance and efficiency. Collaborate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments to achieve production targets. Ensure raw materials and tools are available for uninterrupted production. Report production issues, material shortages, or equipment failures to management promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the shop floor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
