Plan and assign jobs
to the workshop team (welders, fabricators, fitters, etc.).
Set deadlines and priorities
for each job according to project schedules.
Coordinate material requirements
-- ensure steel/aluminium, consumables, and hardware are available on time.
Follow up with procurement
for material delivery and supplier updates.
Update project managers / site engineers
with delivery timelines.
Track workshop progress
and report delays or bottlenecks early.
Ensure quality checks
and proper documentation before dispatch.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Education:
Diploma in mechanical engineering or Indusctrial engineering - if he is having experience in work shop - then diploma is sufficient
Or
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
Experience:
5-10 years in
steel fabrication / aluminium works / metal workshop management
.
Must be able to
read and interpret shop drawings
(AutoCAD familiarity preferred).
Experience with
production planning
and
material management
.
Background in UAE construction or fabrication industry preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
Leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent communication (English required; Hindi/Arabic an advantage).
Computer literate - Excel, MS Project (optional), email reporting.
Valid UAE driving license preferred (to move between sites/workshops).

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
