Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Controller to take full ownership of event production -- from initial planning to flawless on-site installation. This role ensures every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and creative standards. You will coordinate between design, production, and installation teams, ensuring all setups reflect our premium brand quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Coordination

Develop and manage detailed production schedules for all projects. Coordinate with designers, carpenters, riggers, AV teams, and external vendors. Interpret and execute technical drawings, 3D renders, and setup plans. Conduct pre-event site visits to finalize logistics.
2. On-site Installation Management

Lead and supervise multiple installation crews, ensuring precise execution. Allocate manpower, delegate tasks, and maintain efficient workflow. Enforce venue regulations, safety protocols, and risk management measures.
3. Technical & Quality Control

Inspect all structures, props, and decor elements before dispatch and during setup. Ensure construction quality, material finishes, and detailing meet brand standards. Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to prevent delays.
4. Resource & Inventory Management

Oversee packing, loading, transportation, and return of all materials. Maintain inventory records for production assets and consumables. Optimize resource allocation to minimize waste and cost.
5. Budget & Cost Management

Track and control costs for materials, manpower, and subcontractors. Approve purchase orders and supplier payments within project budgets.
6. Leadership & Training

Brief and train staff on installation methods, quality expectations, and safety rules. Foster a collaborative and productive environment for the production team.
7. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily updates during production and final post-event reports. Log challenges, solutions, and recommendations for process improvement.
Requirements:

Proven experience in event production, stage setup, or large-scale installations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & 3D renders. Knowledge of rigging, staging, carpentry, AV installation, and fabrication methods. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willing to travel within the UAE; flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Valid UAE driving license preferred.
