Roles & Responsibilities: Product Management
  • Develop, own, and execute the relevant Product Group\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic Plan Key Initiatives
  • Manage Financial & Technology related communication with the Global HQ for Pressure & Temperature product lines
  • Lead Product Launch and Product Awareness activities for the Sales Organization, Business Partners and Customer Support teams in MEA
  • Provide feedback to the Global Product team on new feature development and ensure that MEA customer specifications/requirements are considered in the Product development cycle.
  • Improve MSOL and Product Group customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating, and executing solutions to their needs.
  • Initiate and implement the local product manufacturing capabilities in collaboration with the Operations team
  • Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and country marketing plans partnering with the Regional Sales Leaders.
  • Work closely with Service Organizations and SME group to improve Product Experience for Loyal customers.
  • Work closely with Marketing organization to improve customer reach and strengthen product branding.
  • Closely support the training process for Sales, Business Development & Proposal teams. Collaborate with Local and Global training organizations to deliver Product training.
  • Drive product and factory approval processes within identified Key Accounts.
  • Support the Operations organization in building a robust SIOP plan.
  • Manage relationships with strategic vendors/partners for buyout business within the Pressure and Temperature portfolio.
Business Development
  • Lead product business development, Project Pursuit and support sales initiatives for MEA to meet or exceed the Product Group\xe2\x80\x99s financial objectives
  • Develop, Own and Execute the strategy to grow the business for the Highly Differentiated Products within the Portfolio.
  • Develop tools and incentive plans to motivate the sales channel to focus on and grow specific product lines within the portfolio.
  • Participate in developing and executing sales strategies for projects. Maintain an accurate project pursuit list and provide reports and forecasts to management and finance processes.
  • Support the Sales Organization for technology and applications-related customer presentations or meetings.
  • Support Sales Organizations and Local Business Partners across MEA to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, are competitively priced and are submitted on time.
  • Provide technical support in pre-sales processes, clarifications, and re-engineering as needed to comply with client/project requirements
  • Coach customer-facing salespersons on product features, industry and application knowledge and Customer/Industry Situational Fluency.
  • Improve the product, application, and industry knowledge of the sales organization (customer-facing, back office and execution teams for PG products and services.
  • Keep up to date with developments and trends in products, industries and market conditions; develop and maintain sales tools within the scope of work; develop, own and execute PG-related marketing activities.
  • Work closely with other Measurement Solutions Product Groups and Emerson Platforms to maximize pull-through content and identify white spaces.
  • Support strengthening existing and developing new relationships with a customer or third-party personnel (i.e. regulatory, legal agencies, customer technical boards, consultants, etc.) who may influence and make buying decisions .
Sales & Business Intelligence
  • Define and develop processes for tracking and communicating the business\'s Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develop / Improve processes for efficiently utilising Sales Intelligence and forecasting tools like CRM, PowerBI, etc.
  • Define and develop processes to understand and improve Product market pricing
  • Work closely with the Business Applications / IT / Digital team to create effective visualizations for the Pressure & Temperature Business KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Sales Organization to gather Intelligence on market pricing, customer loyalty, and competition.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to develop smart tools and pricing database for important buyout components of the portfolio.
Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required Job Requirements:
  • Degree in STEM; A business degree is an advantage
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience within the process control industry
  • Minimum five years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Middle East and Africa work experience is an advantage
  • Track record of business growth or managing high performing teams or building systems & processes
  • Strong Communication and collaborations skills
  • Good planning/priority management
