Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially sharp Product Manager to lead our air compressor product line. This role is ideal for someone who combines engineering know-how with a deep understanding of market dynamics and supplier relationships. The right candidate will be responsible for product innovation, supplier development, cost optimization, and occasionally stepping in front of the camera to represent the product in a clear and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire lifecycle of our air compressor products -- from concept and development to launch and post-launch improvements.

Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product fit, performance, and compliance.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Identify, evaluate, and establish new supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, or innovation capabilities.

Analyze product costs and lead initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality or performance.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to drive innovation in design, features, and technology.

Coordinate testing, validation, and certification to meet industry and OEM standards.

Manage documentation including BOMs, test reports, spec sheets, and technical validations.

Visit factories and conduct supplier audits to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

Act as a brand ambassador by occasionally presenting products on video for training, marketing, or social media.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience in product management or technical development, preferably in the automotive or compressor space.

Deep understanding of air compressor systems, components, and market applications.

Proven track record in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation.

Experience in cost-down initiatives, value engineering, and production process improvement.

Strong organizational and project management skills with cross-functional coordination abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -- able to simplify technical topics for various audiences.

Other Requirements:

Willing to travel for supplier meetings, trade fairs, and on-site development.

Must have a personality that fits the role -- confident, curious, hands-on, and solution-oriented.

Comfortable being on camera to present products clearly and naturally for marketing and internal training content.

Experience working with OEM-grade standards and certifications is a strong advantage.
