Summary

The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and improving products and systems used in industrial measurement and diagnostic applications. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop new products and components based on project requirements. Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation for new designs. Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications. Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure products meet performance and safety standards. Support existing product lines through design improvements and troubleshooting. Participate in prototype development and testing activities. Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to manage timelines and project deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design or engineering development. Knowledge of CAD software and design validation processes. Understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good communication and documentation skills.

Work Conditions

Full-time position based in a technical or industrial environment. May require occasional travel to project sites or suppliers.
