Ensure accurate take-offs to ensure budgets are accurate. Research new materials for design and cost savings. Maintain subcontractor and supplier insurance policies. Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification. Establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to improve continually pricing and quality of work. Maintain and implement construction preform / budget for the works. Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials and equipment for jobs. Meet subcontractors and suppliers on-site as necessary. Ensure compliance with project budgets and provide analysis of deviations. Assist in maintaining company quality control program. Handle change order requests. Prepare cost estimates, tender, contracts, and price finalizing. Render support to Project Managers for all project procurement matters. Source for required material and suppliers, either directly or through consultant Procurement of material and negotiation with suppliers, ensuring price is always competitive and landed cost evaluation is performed. Evaluate prices and suppliers and make selection recommendation to project and stakeholders. Manage the procure to pay process and update delivery schedule regularly. Inspect the quality and quantity of procured materials and provide update to stakeholders. Preparation of progress and delivery report to stakeholders Prepare/verification/upkeep of project variation work and site/stakeholder instructions.
