Procurement Supervisor

Job Description
As a Procurement Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and supporting the procurement and sourcing activities of the hotel. Your responsibilities include supervising procurement team, managing supplier relationships, and contributing to the efficient operation of the procurement department.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Supervise the procurement team and provide guidance on procurement processes and procedures. Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies. Participate in the procurement process, including identifying suppliers and negotiating agreements. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and cost standards. Collaborate with department heads to understand their procurement requirements. Contribute to the analysis of market trends and supply chain data for informed decisions. Assist in cost and price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain and manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, issues, and disputes. Assist in inventory management to minimize excess or obsolete stock. Contribute to maintaining a vendor database and supplier performance metrics. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Participate in monitoring and reporting on procurement KPIs and financial performance. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement. Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to safeguard the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as contribute to environmental conservation. * Adhere to the company's environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
