Are you an organized and driven procurement professional with experience in the maritime sector? Daniel Survey - Geotech, Survey, Ship ownership and management is looking for a Procurement Officer to join our growing team.
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Employment Type: Full time
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure marine equipment, spares, and services for vessels
Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with approved suppliers
Ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing
Coordinate with technical teams and vessel superintendents
Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in procurement, preferably in ship management or maritime industry
Strong knowledge of marine spares, logistics, and vendor management
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
