? Job Purpose
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality landscaping materials and services. This role is critical to ensuring our projects are supplied efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have an established network of suppliers within the UAE landscaping market.
? Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement:
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for a wide range of landscaping materials (e.g., plants, trees, turf, soil, fertilizers, pesticides, hardscape materials, irrigation components, outdoor lighting, and garden amenities).
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to various project sites.
• Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies to reduce project costs.
• Supplier Management:
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and manage contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements.
• Inventory & Quality Control:
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to forecast material requirements.
• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet specified quality standards and project specifications.
• Manage returns and replacements for defective or sub-standard materials.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management.

? Qualifications & Experience

• Must have proven experience as a Procurement Officer, specifically within the landscaping, horticulture, or construction industry in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of landscaping materials, their quality standards, and market trends.
• Strong existing network of UAE-based suppliers for landscaping products.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• High school diploma is required; a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
