Job Description
Our client, one of the Road construction & Infrastructure contractors in the UAE, is looking for a Procurement Officer.
Procurement Officer
Responsibilities:
- Day to day handling procurement of Dubai/Ajman office- site requirements.
- Local sourcing, price comparison, getting discount, preparing LPO, checking for the payment requirements and delivery status.
- For the projects, requesting assistance for vendor material submittals.
- Coordinate to site team for any requirements and clarifications needed.
- Preparing & advise update reports for the project, inquiry and orders.
- Make necessary calls and requests to improve credit facility we have with our vendors.
- Handling Material requests to improve credit facility we have with our vendors.
- Meeting / Inspecting vendors personally and / or online.
- Bachelor degree, good command on English, Hindi is an advantage.
- 4-5 years of experience in UAE with Road construction and infrastructure contracting companies.
