We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Procurement Officer / Glass Purchaser
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong supplier negotiation skills, deep knowledge of the glass industry, and a proven ability to manage procurement processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for glass and related materials.
Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
Work closely with the project, warehouse, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
Ensure materials meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a procurement officer or purchaser, preferably in glass or building materials.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of supply chain procedures and inventory management.
Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office.
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
