Job Description

1. Procurement & Sourcing

Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for landscaping materials such as plants, soil, fertilizers, irrigation components, hardscape materials, tools, and machinery.

2. Purchasing Operations

Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements. Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. Coordinate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules, technical clarifications, and logistics.

3. Vendor & Contract Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local nurseries, material suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers. Negotiate favorable terms, including pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery conditions. Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain supplier performance records.

4. Coordination With Internal Teams

Work closely with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and estimation teams to understand material requirements. Provide technical and commercial support for project execution. Assist the estimation team by providing updated price lists and supplier insights.

5. Technical & Quality Compliance

Ensure purchased materials meet required technical specifications and project standards. Conduct material comparisons, compliance checks, and coordinate with QA/QC for inspections. Resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, quality issues, or material replacements.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of purchases, price lists, vendor databases, and procurement logs. Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO procurement procedures Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations) and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, and delivery terms. Conduct market research to identify new vendors, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
