Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer - ELV Systems is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services for Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including but not limited to CCTV, access control, BMS, PA systems, structured cabling, and fire alarm systems. The role ensures timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and compliance with quality and technical specifications aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure ELV-related materials and equipment according to project specifications and timelines. Evaluate and select suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and service. Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve optimal cost savings. Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules to meet project milestones. Liaise with engineering and project teams to confirm specifications and quantities. Monitor and manage supplier performance; maintain a vendor database. Track and report procurement status and risks to project and procurement management. Coordinate with logistics, warehousing, and finance departments for goods receipt and invoice processing. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the ELV or MEP industry. Knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, BMS, fire alarm, etc.) and technical specifications is essential. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent is an advantage. PMP or knowledge of project procurement processes is a plus.
