Role Description:
As a
Procurement Officer
, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality materials, equipment, and services essential for our projects. You will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining supplier relationships and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for ICT, security, ELV, and AV equipment.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Procurement Process:
Review purchase requisitions and prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations) to obtain competitive bids.
Compare supplier offers, analyze costs, and recommend the best procurement options.
Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure accurate documentation.
Inventory & Cost Control:
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with project teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Track procurement expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and company policies.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
Generate reports on procurement metrics, savings, and supplier performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with
sales, engineering, and project teams
to align procurement with project timelines.
Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality concerns proactively.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
.
Experience:
3+ years in
procurement, preferably in ICT, ELV, security systems, or construction
.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (Excel, ERP systems).
Knowledge of
ICT/ELV products, market trends, and supplier networks
.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
