Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented

Procurement Manager

with a strong background in the

Aluminum & Facade or Steel Structural industries

within the UAE. The ideal candidate will lead procurement operations for engineering and construction projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and services, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with project and company objectives. Source, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules in accordance with budgetary constraints and project timelines. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, and Estimation teams to align procurement activities with technical and timeline requirements. Monitor inventory and stock levels; work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability. Ensure compliance with internal policies, UAE import/export regulations, and industry best practices. Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze supplier quotations, and oversee purchase order lifecycle. Track and evaluate supplier performance, addressing non-compliance or disputes as needed. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay abreast of trends in material availability and pricing. Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Supply Chain Management

, or a related discipline.

10-15 years of UAE-based procurement experience

in the Aluminum & Facade or Steel Structural industries. In-depth knowledge of raw materials used in curtain walls, aluminum systems, facades, and structural steel. Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills. Familiarity with UAE supplier base, customs processes, and relevant regulatory standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities. Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
