We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Executive to join our team in the interior fit-out industry.
The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience in procurement, with a solid understanding of sourcing materials, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products for high-quality interior fit-out projects.
The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work closely with project teams to meet tight deadlines and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Procurement:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors for interior fit-out materials for the ongoing projects.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement solutions.
Maintain a reliable supplier base for timely delivery of quality materials.
Monitor market trends and materials pricing to ensure cost efficiency.
Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the availability and timely delivery of materials for ongoing projects.
Develop and maintain a procurement schedule in alignment with project timelines.
Address any supply chain disruptions and provide effective solutions to ensure continuity in project execution.
Budget & Cost Control:
Monitor and track procurement expenses to ensure alignment with project budgets.
Develop procurement strategies that optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Regularly report on procurement expenditures and progress.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high levels of customer service.
Address any vendor-related issues such as product quality, delays, or discrepancies and work toward resolution.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure all procured materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in the procurement process.
Review and inspect delivered materials for quality and accuracy before accepting goods.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
Prepare reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supply chain issues, and vendor performance.
Assist in contract management and ensure all procurement-related paperwork is completed on time.
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, designers, and contractors to understand material requirements for interior fit-out projects.
Support project teams in identifying new sourcing opportunities or product innovations.
Liaise with the finance team for budget approvals and ensure accurate financial tracking of purchases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
7-8 years of proven experience in procurement, within the interior fit-out.
Strong knowledge of materials, suppliers, and procurement processes in the interior design and fit-out sector.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and pricing.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
