Procurement Engineer: Qualification: Degree/Diploma or any certificate course in Civil Engineering/Interior Designing/Architecture Experience: A minimum of 5 -7 years of relevant experience in the Fit-out industry Valid UAE driving license. Field of Experience: Interior & Joinery Fit Out / Role Receiving and reviewing Purchase Requisitions and ensure that all required information is available and necessary approvals have been obtained. Float inquiries to approved vendors to obtain quotes for the products/services requested Prepare and issue POs to vendors with all necessary approvals Follow up with vendors and ensure timely delivery of items ordered Develop new /specialist vendors on a regular basis Develop and maintain an ethical relationship with vendors /subcontractors
Keeping up the company's standard of quality production/ jobs by the choice of materials used. Maintain the company's reputation for integrity and fair dealing by the method of negotiating with vendors. Building up goodwill in the business world with which it deals in. Close out quality incident reports received from Production/ Projects and ensure corrective actions are taken Ensure that Weekly Report is prepared and submitted to the Head Of Operations. Arrange samples/technical data sheets as and when required by Project Team.
