Role Summary
Wood is hiring a Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for key projects. The role focuses on ensuring cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards for engineering and industrial projects.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, review, and issue procurement documentation including RFPs, bid evaluations, and purchase orders
• Negotiate supplier contracts and finalize commercial terms and conditions
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, and project teams for alignment of procurement activities
• Monitor supplier performance and manage onboarding processes
• Ensure procurement compliance with company policies and project schedules
• Support CAPEX procurement and manage technical packages for engineering projects

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 8-12 years of experience in procurement within engineering or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier markets, and contract management
• Experience in CAPEX procurement and technical package handling
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and commercial analysis skills
• Knowledge of steel materials and fabrication processes preferred
