Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement predictive and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs for electrical systems to enhance equipment reliability and minimize failures
  • Conduct internal safety audits on electrical installations and develop corrective action plans to ensure full compliance with ADNOC's HSE standards
  • Prepare preventive, modification, and shutdown maintenance programs for electrical assets and coordinate with other sections for smooth execution
  • Participate in technology upgrades, design reviews, and plant change requests (PCRs) related to electrical equipment and systems
  • Conduct detailed engineering, prepare scope of work, and carry out technical evaluations for capital, major maintenance, and extraordinary maintenance projects
  • Review and improve existing maintenance practices using modern tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and reliability
  • Supervise high-voltage (HV) switching operations in accordance with ADNOC policies and safety procedures
  • Prepare method statements for critical electrical maintenance tasks and validate procedures for service contracts and in-house jobs
  • Provide technical evaluation of bids and verify the quality of received materials and spare parts
  • Support the design, development, and commissioning of new projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices
  • Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and advanced safety and maintenance audits
  • Review and manage electrical spare parts inventory in coordination with inventory and procurement departments
  • Collaborate with turnaround and planning teams to optimize shutdown schedules and minimize operational disruption
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure skill development within the maintenance team
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry
  • Expertise in condition monitoring, reliability-centered maintenance, and high-voltage systems
  • Familiarity with design, installation, and commissioning of DCS, ESD, and PLC systems
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and technical report-writing abilities
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
