Job Description
- Receives requisitions from plants/sites, checks for accuracy, and reverts to requestor for any
- Ensures approval of necessary personnel before proceeding to create request.
- Responsible for creating and managing the addition of new line items to Tally and ensuring the
- Identifies function of requirements and creates and assigns separate requisitions on Tally as per
- Is responsible for implementing inventory stock levels at DIC location and works in conjunction
appropriate manner.
- Oversees processes undertaken by Storekeepers at sites and processing plants relating to
- Records requisition on P/O tracker along with date assigned to Buyer.
- Liaises with Buyers and Storekeepers to check supplier invoices against P/O & GRN recorded in
reconcile/rectify any discrepancies.
- Collates invoices and summarises detail (transmittal report) to forward to Finance department
- Is responsible for producing and managing regular and ad-hoc reports as per Management
- From time to time may be required to undertake additional procurement related tasks in line
