Wood is currently looking for a Procurement Coordinator to strengthen our team in Dubai.
Understanding of procurement process e.g. QML, AML, vendor qualification, documentations (material test certificates, country of origin certificates)
Ability to coordinate and work with procurement and quality counterparts from client to resolve any outstanding issue related to procurement, shipments, and vendors qualifications
Ability to coordinate and work with Contractors TBEs, Vendor selection, and POs to ensure compliance with EMIL requirements through coordination with client engineering and quality
Act as Focal Point for all Logistics related matters with Logistics partner
Provide Supplier Purchase Orders and Supplier Letters of Confirmation to our Logistics partner to initiate the collection of materials
Liaise with QA/QC to establish when Inspection Release Notes (IRN\xe2\x80\x99s) have been issued to Suppliers
Expediting and monitoring vendors procurement (PO to FOB)
Equipment/Structural fabrication
Coordination and follow up with EPC contractor engineering & procurement teams
Make our Logistics partner aware of when IRN\xe2\x80\x99s have been issued to Suppliers
Support our Logistics partner in obtaining the initial Draft Shipping Documents from the Supplier in a timely manner
Report on Collection and Departure turnaround times by our Logistics partner vs the agreed contract terms
Expedite the shipments to ensure materials arrive on schedule
Analyse the Logistics partner Tracker Reports to ensure that all data is correct
Expedite any areas of the Logistics partner Tracker report that is not meeting the agreed contract turnaround times
Report any areas of known slippage to Lead Buyers who attend the weekly Procurement Status Report (PSR) meetings to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of any potential delays to the shipping schedule.
Record and Report any poor performance to Management that doesn\xe2\x80\x99t meet the agreed contract turnaround times
Set up weekly meetings with our Logistics partner to discuss performance, resolve any problems identified and build a solid working relationship
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelors degree qualification (Preferable \xe2\x80\x93 Degree in transportation management or international transportation)
Technical knowledge, mid-level experience working with O&G projects and technical understanding of materials and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s used in such projects
Preferable \xe2\x80\x93 understanding of Iraqi law of port release, shipments, certifications, attestations, and customs
Mid-level career with proven track record of procurement coordination skills and communication/coordination skills
7 years in similar role in O&G industry
Minimum of 5 years Logistics coordination experience for large scale oil and gas projects
Previous experience in the Middle East region
