Job Purpose

To provide customer focused support in processing along with ensuring strict compliance with Group Procurement policies and processes and formalize vendor engagement through purchase orders.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Receive internal purchase requisition from business units in the required format.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that all requisitions are complete, follow up with internal stakeholders for missing information, if required.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with the sourcing team to prepare a purchase order, follow up in case of any delays.

\xc2\xb7 Issue purchase order for approval through the right workflow route.

\xc2\xb7 Issue purchase orders to vendors and requestors and advise on expected delivery date. Follow up for confirmation from the vendor.

\xc2\xb7 Collect invoices for advance payment and forwarding to accounts for timely payment.

\xc2\xb7 Upload all orders in the system and ensure payments are made on time, follow up with Finance for any delayed payments.

\xc2\xb7 Keep track of long lead items and coordinate for delivery and payments.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a tracker of delivery and follow up with vendors in case of delivery delay.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with the sourcing and legal team to ensure that all contracts are current and renewed in a timely manner.

\xc2\xb7 Manage new vendor registration through the required channels, ensuring that all vendors are registered correctly.

\xc2\xb7 Assist the Procurement team with extracting Procurement related information and conduct basic data analysis of Procurement KPIs.
