The Procurement & Contracts Specialist will manage
purchasing activities, contract administration, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements
. This role requires
strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and familiarity with UAE procurement laws
to support the startup's operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement & Supplier Management:
Identify and source reliable vendors for equipment, technology, and service needs.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize costs.
Develop supplier evaluation criteria and conduct performance assessments.
Establish procurement policies aligned with business needs and UAE regulations.
Contract Administration & Compliance:
Draft, review, and manage vendor & client contracts, ensuring terms align with company objectives.
Ensure all contracts comply with UAE legal requirements and industry standards.
Monitor contract deadlines, renewals, and obligations, mitigating risks where needed.
Collaborate with legal teams to resolve contract disputes or amendments.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Track procurement expenses and provide financial reports to management.
Conduct market analysis to identify better pricing and sourcing alternatives.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:
Optimize procurement workflows and automate purchasing processes where feasible.
Maintain a centralized database of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier details.
Ensure transparency and accuracy in procurement documentation.
Strategic Business Support:
Align procurement strategies with business objectives and scaling requirements.
Support negotiations for large-scale purchases and partnerships.
Evaluate new market opportunities for strategic sourcing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of procurement and contract management experience, ideally within digital media, technology, or startups.
Strong understanding of UAE procurement laws, vendor regulations, and contract frameworks.
Technical & Negotiation Skills:
Expertise in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy.
Knowledge of ERP systems, procurement software, and cost management tools.
Strong ability to manage purchase orders, budgets, and compliance requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
