Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage vendors for materials, equipment, or supplies, and assess product availability and sales terms through interviews.
Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Source, procure, and contract materials, supplies, and services in line with company policies and procedures.
Solicit quotes through tender circulations and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers.
Administer contracts and proposals efficiently.
Evaluate supplier performance, implementing strategies to reduce costs and enhance quality.
Ensure timely procurement to meet project deadlines.
Source and onboard new suppliers to diversify vendor options.
Verify quotes, purchase orders, and all Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for accuracy.
Deliver high-quality purchases at the lowest possible cost.
Requirements:
2-3 years of procurement experience in the interior industry, preferably in joinery.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, adhere to strict schedules, and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
Knowledge of procurement processes, including LPOs, tenders, and contract administration.
