Job Description

We are looking for a

Purchasing Assistant

with a professional attitude and fluent English to join our well-established Building Materials Trading Company in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities



Create and process purchase orders, manage supplier order books, and track order progress. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices and terms, and resolve queries and delivery issues. Monitor inventory levels, support stock control, and help ensure stock accuracy and organization. Coordinate effectively with internal teams (sales, warehouse, accounts) and external vendors, both verbally and in writing. Prepare purchasing documents, maintain accurate records, and conduct basic market research to support purchasing decisions. Identify and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and supplier performance. Ensure accuracy in all tasks, including order processing, data entry, and inventory management.

Requirements



Previous experience in

purchasing / procurement

, preferably in a

building materials trading company

. Good knowledge of

hardware, electrical, and plumbing items

. Strong

typing speed

and proficiency in

Microsoft Office

(Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with

ERP systems

(any standard ERP) is required. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks under time pressure.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
