Prioritize freshness and shelf-life when sourcing high-turnover items like herbs, greens, fruits, and dairy products.
Manage repetitive daily/weekly orders for staple cooking items such as rice, flour, oil, sugar, and sauces across multiple branches.
Handle procurement of frozen items like fries, meats, seafood, and ready-to-cook products requiring cold chain logistics.
Collect multiple quotes, compare pricing, and support cost control by choosing the best value without compromising quality.
Ensure received items match specified grade, brand, or product standards set by the kitchen or procurement head.
Coordinate with storekeepers and kitchen teams to monitor stock levels and avoid overstocking or running out of key ingredients.
Maintain clean and accurate records of all purchases, delivery notes, and invoices using the company's system or software.
Support evaluation of vendors based on consistency, quality, pricing, and service for contract renewals or changes.
Coordinate with chefs and suppliers to plan ahead for seasonal ingredients, ensuring timely availability during peak demand.
