Job Description

• Assist the Procurement and Logistics Manager in the implementation of agreed-upon methods to deliver cost-effective purchase for numerous commodity and service groups.
• Assist in sourcing, prequalifying, and evaluating vendors, as well as advising on the best commodities and services to meet specified requirements.
• Regularly expedite purchase orders and follow up with vendors on discrepancies or shipment delays.
• Ensure that suppliers follow precise shipping instructions and restrictions, and arrange for customs clearance of products.
• Complete administrative activities as needed for a seamless operational implementation and workflow.
• Prepare bid lists, obtain and negotiate quotations from qualified suppliers, and prepare purchase orders in accordance with proforma invoices and other streamlined acquisitions documents.
• Maintain and update vendor or supplier records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Support new and existing supplier accounts to foster business development.
• Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all internal and external customers or suppliers.
• Execute regional and international procurement tasks in accordance with approved procurement policies and procedures.
• Send requests for quotations and evaluate price for approvals.
• Analyze material and service quotations obtained to confirm compliance with actual requirements.
• Monitor stock demands and identify purchase needs.
• Prepare and submit monthly movement tracking reports to the Procurement and Logistics Manager.
• Help and support the team in order to improve teamwork and department efficiency.

Experience:

• Procurement and Logistics: 2 years (Preferred)
• UAE Epxerience: 2 years (Preferred)
