Process Engineering Lead - ADNOC Group - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position Overview
This role directs and coordinates all activities within the process engineering discipline and provides technical advice to operations. It ensures engineering work meets company standards, supports project execution, and upholds design integrity across all technical studies.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare progress and performance analysis reports, highlight issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Support efforts to obtain and maintain ISO certification for the process engineering section.
Review engineering deliverables from EPC contractors related to process and control engineering.
Review systems and equipment design to ensure ease of operation and overall safety.
Provide on site process engineering support during construction, pre commissioning, and commissioning.
Act as the technical authority for process engineering and mediate technical disputes when required.
Provide expertise for developing and approving philosophies, design basis documents, policies, and key engineering references for major projects, brownfield modifications, and new field developments.
Support development and review of process engineering standards, codes of practice, and specifications to align with legislation, best practices, and lessons learned.
Identify and recommend technical innovations that enhance project delivery and operational performance.
Ensure process engineering input is available for HSE related studies, reviews, and workshops.
Internal Relationships
Regular contact with line managers, peers, and internal teams as required.
External Relationships
Engage with consultants, service providers, and government entities as needed.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor degree in chemical engineering or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum eight years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of process engineering practices, standards, and project execution workflows.
