Job Description

Due to anticipated growth throughout 2022, Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Process Designer with exprience in refining and offshore industry to be based in UAE.

Please note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) only whilst exact opportunities are being fully determined.

Below are some key responsibilities and duties:

+ Preparation of all types of Process design drawings and deliverables such as Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs, line list, valve list etc. based on client standards/practices

+ Produce process drawings as per Client standards using of AutoCAD, Microstation, SmartplantP&ID, AvevaP&ID etc

+ Carry out assigned process design work as part of a multi-discipline project team

+ Develop process drawings based on inputs provided by lead designers and engineers

+ To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements

+ To provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and construction

+ To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline

+ Strong commitment to safety

+ Diploma in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)

+ Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an engineering organization as process designer

+ Proficient with computer-aided design and drafting (AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA P&ID, Smartplant P&ID) softwares.

+ Previous Onshore Oil and Gas related process design experience

+ Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
