Job Description

Due to anticipated growth throughout 2022, Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Senior Process Designer with exprience in refining and offshore industry to be based in UAE.

Please note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) only whilst exact opportunities are being fully determined.

Below are some key responsibilities and duties:

+ Preparation and checking of all types of process design drawings such as Block Flow Diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs, etc

+ Preparation of Process design deliverables such as Line list, tie-in list, valve list etc

+ Produce process drawings as per Client standards using of AutoCAD, Microstation, SPPID, AvevaP&ID etc

+ To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline for P&IDs and linelist preparation

+ As Senior Designer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of designers, and delivering the engineering requirements of the project

+ Must be able to work to an agreed scope, budget and schedule

+ Experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design is required

+ Compliance with industry, international and Client Codes and standards

+ Strong commitment to safety

+ Diploma in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)

+ Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry

+ Proficient with computer-aided design and drafting (AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA P&ID, SPPID) software.

+ Knowledge on SPPID and AvevaPID set up is an added advantage.

+ Previous Onshore Oil and Gas related process design experience

+ Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
