About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer - Dry Utilities to join our innovative team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and implementation of dry utilities for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Spearhead the design and implementation of dry utilities projects, including HV, MV, LV, street lighting, landscape lighting, substation, and pump station design Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for major projects Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, optimising utilisation and financial performance Prepare reports, calculations, and design documentation using Civil 3D software in a BIM environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure innovative and compliant solutions

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in dry utilities, with a proven track record of leading complex projects In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to dry utilities Proficiency in Civil 3D software and BIM environment Strong project management skills, including budget management and resource allocation Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development * Familiarity with the UAE construction industry and local regulations is highly desirable
