The Arbor School is a growing school situated near the Dubai Marina area of Dubai, in the UAE. The school opened in September 2018 and currently has over 1,000 children on the register. The school offers the National Curriculum for England with a focus on Ecoliteracy, Sustainability and Environmental Justice which are incorporated into the curriculum across all year groups. The school has a diverse student body with children from over 50 countries, creating a truly International environment. We are currently looking for an outstanding Primary PE and Sports Teacher (EYFS to Year 6) to join the team from August 2023.
JOB SUMMARY
The Arbor School Dubai is currently seeking a well-qualified, caring and inspiring Primary School PE and Sport Teacher (EYFS-Year 6) to help deliver a high-quality curriculum (based on eco themes and an enhanced English National Curriculum for a PE and Sport), across their thriving Primary School. The right candidate will need to have a minimum level 2 ASA or Austswim swim teaching qualification (completed prior to commencing role), as well as ideally seeking candidates who have additional passions and skill sets in teaching and leading on one or more of the following: basketball, football, touch rugby, and /or netball. REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • Native-level English language skills
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Physical Education and Sports or equivalent, with a PGCE or QTS, from a reputable university
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience teaching PE and Sports in British schools
  • A track record of outstanding teaching and learning and an ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment
  • A sense of humour and an excellent work ethic

REMUNERATION:
