We are currently looking for a Primary School Teacher Librarian (EYFS-Year 6) to join the team from August 2023.
The Arbor School is a growing school situated near the Dubai Marina area of Dubai, in the UAE. The school opened in September 2018 and currently has over 550 children on the register. The school offers the National Curriculum for England with a focus on Ecoliteracy, Sustainability and Environmental Justice which are incorporated into the curriculum across all year groups. The school has a diverse student body with children from over 50 countries, creating a truly International environment.

JOB SUMMARY
The Arbor School Dubai is currently seeking well-qualified, caring and inspiring Primary School Teacher Librarian (EYFS-Year 6). You will serve as an integral part of the student journey to deliver their innovative, challenging and balanced library curriculum (based on eco-themes/an enhanced English National Curriculum) in their thriving Primary School. REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • Native level English language skills.
  • Minimum Graduate Degree in Library and Information Science, a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Sound knowledge of literature for children and young people.
  • Confidence in working with a cultural mix of students.
  • Proficient in MS office Application, Follett Library and Follett Resource management system.
  • Knowledge of how to use digital technologies effectively in promoting student learning.
