We are looking to appoint an experienced Primary Art and Design Teacher to start in August 2023. The successful candidate will be an outstanding specialist who can deliver high quality art and design lessons to children in the Primary School. The successful candidate will have a graduate teaching qualification in the required area and be able to inspire students with a creative flair and innovative approach to learning. The Art and Design Specialist will be adept at working with a variety of mediums and be able to support students in creating finished products through a design thinking process, ready for exhibitions and displays. English National Curriculum experience will be desirable for this position. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working within a high-quality Art department.
• Qualification to teach Art and Design in Primary School level with a proven track record in performance outcomes.
• Experience working with pupils across all Primary years and abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity and wellbeing.
