Job Overview
As a Primary FS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a child-centered, creative, and inspiring curriculum to foundation stage learners. You will create an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes the emotional, social, and academic development of young children, aligned with the values and ethos of GEMS Metropole School Al Waha.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Early Years learners based on the British curriculum
• Support each child's holistic development, ensuring academic readiness and emotional wellbeing
• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment rich in resources and opportunities for exploration
• Use effective observation and assessment techniques to monitor and support student progress
• Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, confidence, respect, and kindness
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to meet the needs of all learners
• Participate actively in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience
• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and teaching innovation across the Early Years department

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (BEd) or equivalent with a specialization in Early Childhood or Primary Education
• PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Early Years or Foundation Stage
• Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and British curriculum standards
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A nurturing and creative mindset with a passion for early years education
• Commitment to professional development and community engagement
