Key responsibilities
Drive the Intra Gulf Ocean strategy for the UAE area
Pricing for end-to-end products with within given mandate and geographical scope
Provides input to pricing model and ensures data/fact-based maintenance and optimization
Accepts/Rejects quotes below authority within given mandate and geographical scope
Develop and promote the digital products to the customers via sales team
Recommends General Rate Increase positions within geography
Own the product integrity of the digital products and stabilize the performance
Adopt company culture and act as a role model for others
Collaborate pro-actively with other departments in Maersk to deliver exceptional customer experience
Who are we looking for?
A Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years’ work experience in a commercial role within the logistics, shipping or freight forwarding industries
Proven ability to understand customer needs and offer mutually beneficial solutions
Negotiation skills/procurement tactics
Deeper Ocean product understanding including how to solve different customer pain points
Strategic partnering, financial acumen, matrix management, value co-creator, presentation skills
Fluency in English
