We are looking to hire a Pricing Freight Forwarding Coordinator who will be reporting to the Commercial and Pricing Manager Job Responsibilities: The candidate should have proven knowledge of Sea/Air Freight operational processes. Aggressively participate in freight rates negotiations by working closely with carriers and liners, transporters, agents, and counterparts to acquire the best rates in the market. Develop and build solid relationships with carriers, agents, and counterparts, at all levels, seeking the best fit to secure the necessary rates and space agreements Help determine new services that we can develop by understanding the needs of the customers and keeping an eye on the market including competitors' activity, port developments, and trade lanes growth Follow up with airlines/shipping lines for spot rates ex: reduction in rates on specific trade lanes due to capacity issues. Constantly support Sales for best rates and terms from agents to secure inquiries & to improve quotation turn-around time. Constantly be in touch with all agents by email to ensure a functional business relationship. Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods from one location to another. Support the network in all RFQs and Tenders Manage Pricing team to handle all RFQ and ad-hoc inquiries received. Communicate with international stakeholders on all pricing-related matters Should have market knowledge of the Air/Sea & Land Transportation industry. Job Requirements: Market Pricing: 2 years (Required) Logistics & Freight Forwarding : 3 years (Required) Knowledge in DGR handling, pharma. Good AFR product and pricing knowledge Experience in Sea and Air freight Job Type: Full-time Experience:
