to work in our GCC office in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We're looking for a pre-sales engineer who is responsible for supporting sales executive in solution selling to prospects, executing strategic deals, modelling financial business cases, and matching customer requirements to proposed solutions.
JOB SUMMARY:
Collaborate with the sales support or account team by acting as technical experts in customer presentations. In addition, they determine the technical requirements to meet client goals and act as liaison between the organization's sales/business development and engineering groups. They also respond to requests for information or requests for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions. Pre-sales engineers then must coordinate the transition between pre-sales specifications and implementation engineering once contracts have been awarded.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Pre-Sales technical support for our customers' products, applications, and solution development.
Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure that solutions are provided as promised, and handover procedures.
To work closely with sales team, vendors, and partners to ensure optimum systems and solutions are provided to the customers.
To provide quick yet thorough response to customer request for proposal (RFP) and generate technical design and solution proposal based on technology and our product offerings, including BIM integration where appropriate.
Lead the technical compliance team in responding to RFP and be the overall architect to validate solutions involving multiple products. To use industry and product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales team and customer through presentations, product demonstrations and periodic updates.
To provide consultation to prospective customers and perform proof of concept (POC) testing and solution evaluation.
Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions.
Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required.
Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
To perform detailed site surveys, coordinate with subcontractors, participate in pre and post bid meetings and support sales team.
Hold meeting and technical data regarding the design.

Knowledge and experience of
AutoCAD
is a must.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred.
Two to four years of industry experience, including two or more years in sales engineering or consulting.
MUST be knowledgeable and have experience using AutoCAD.
